They say the best things are worth waiting for?!

So, after weeks of speculation from various commentators in the media, the last episode of Top Gear was finally aired recently.  No doubt everyone of the 5.3 million viewers will have their favorite piece of the last ever episode, a cobbling together of two episodes broadcast as one with Hammond and May taking center stage.  For us here at Skelton Plant Hire, we are proud to be part of what is destined to go into history books and no doubt be viewed by millions more on iPlayer and DAVE!!  The Eagle Eyed amongst you would have seen our JCB 550-80 lifting up the three 4×4’s of the Top Gear Team and dropping them over the edge of the quarry where they had little choice but to roll down to the bottom where they were repatriated with their drivers who suprisingly started them back up and drove them away to to their next challenge!!  Our telehandler, operated by Frank, not The Stig, spends most of its time loading a screener so it was a pleasant change for man and machine to have a bit of fun and appear on the BBC with the three musketeers, Clarkson, Hammond and May.

Top Gear may well have reached the end of its era, but SPH on the other hand, are still very much in the fast lane!!  If you would like to hire a telehandler to load a screener or even throw cars off the edge of a cliff, please contact our team to discuss your requirements.
